The following is a history of Gladys Maloy Carpenter (youngest daughter of Marion Daniel and Ada Lee Maloy). Her family was brought into the church by Henry Gardner. I was introduced to this story by relatives of the Maloys who searched out Henry Gardner's grave in Spanish Fork, and happened to be there at the same time my sister was visiting the graves of our Gardner relatives this past Memorial Day.

Generational Listings
I have added to the left margin under the heading GENERATION LIST, a file that can be downloaded that contains a pedigree chart so that these family histories make a little more sense as to "who-is-who". I have included a complete 5 generation list for Cynthia Gessel Gaufin, and a somewhat complete 6 generation list for her husband, Lynn Gaufin. Hopefully this will clear up a few questions about some lineage!

Family Histories
I am working to create Family Histories for the Gaufin (Gaufin, Burgner, Cahoon, and Miller generations) and Gessel (Gessel, Gardner, Larsen, and Martell generations) family. I am compiling histories and will have them linked on this blog. I will first work to get the written histories added, and then go back and add in what pictures I have. Please feel free to leave comments about the info you have found here, or share any additional information you may have.
Thanks,
Cynthia Gaufin
